UK-Ukraine School Partnership

We are delighted to have set up a new partnership with a school in Ukraine, offering our students the opportunity to connect with their Ukrainian peers on a project that celebrates the joy of reading. Through the British Council’s UK-Ukraine School Partnerships programme, which is funded by the UK Government, we’ve teamed up with Mukachevo Specialised school No.4. Together, we’ll explore how reading can broaden horizons, build confidence, and enhance mental wellbeing.
This week Mr Hammonds represented Chaucer at the launch event. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about international school partnerships and exchange ideas to promote reading in classrooms. Over the coming weeks and months, we will be sharing the work our students will be undertaking as part of the project.
