Friday 22nd December 2023 will be a Non-uniform - Sportswear day for students. Students can wear PE kit or any other school appropriate non-uniform sportswear. We are suggesting a non-uniform donation of £1 which will be donated to our student council to plan activities in school. Full expectations around non-uniform days can be found at https://www.chaucer.sheffield.sch.uk/uniform
Chaucer School will close at 12.20pm on Friday 22nd December 2023 for the Christmas Holidays. If your child is on FSMs grab bags are available and must be ordered by 12.30pm on Thursday 21st December 2023. These will be ready to collect at the end of school on Friday from the snack bar.
Booking is now available for the Year 8 parents evening, which will be held on the 10th January 2024. Please log onto MCAS or call the school office to book an appointment.
We are delighted to have launched, in partnership with Teach First, the TSAT School Centered Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) programme.
Our one-year programme involves a powerful mix of self-directed, live training and one-to-one support, with trainees gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) upon completion.
We hope that the programme will inspire the next generation of teachers for both TSAT and the wider sector.
