As part of our drive for improvement, Chaucer School is taking part in the Behaviour Hubs programme, a Department for Education-funded programme to improve all aspects of behaviour in schools. We have been paired with an exemplary lead school who will guide us through a year of support in which we will further develop new behaviour cultures to make sure that all pupils can learn in a calm, safe and supportive environment.

As part of this programme of support, we will be gathering the views of pupils and staff, to understand how they perceive behaviour in school. This will help us to identify areas for improvement. This survey will take place in school time and should last no more than ten minutes.

Your child will receive an invitation next week to complete the survey via their school email address, using Microsoft Forms. Students will be identifiable by year group, but not by name, as we may share the collated responses with our lead school and the DFE as part of the programme. If you do not wish your child to take part in this survey, please let us know by the end of this school week (Friday the 10^th of November) so that we can ensure your child does not receive the email to participate.
