School Closure 19th November 2024
Dear parents and carers
Given the severe weather forecast for overnight, I'm taking the step of deciding today that Chaucer School will be closed tomorrow (Tuesday 19th November 2024). Many students travel from across the city, and staff from further afield, and I must consider their safety. Even though many students could walk into school with heavy snow, I cannot guarantee there will be enough staff to run school safely.
All students will be sent work by their class teachers to their school email address, and will be expected to complete the work set. Students can also access Seneca for further options for learning.
We look forward to seeing all students back in school on Wednesday.
